As an early founding member, Jay is the brain behind all things tech at Bravely. Born in San Diego, USA, Jay has been travelling the world since 2011. 

He is also the founder of Legend — the ultimate productivity app for doing deep work. Prior to Legend, Jay worked in Microsoft's Applied Sciences Group where he helped to start the Surface tablet project and researched future experiences for Windows, Windows Phone, Xbox, and Surface. he was a key contributor in developing core applications in Windows 7 and touch and tracking systems for Windows, Xbox, Kinect, Surface products and more. He led the development of Windows 8 touch interface prototypes and specialised display technologies.

As the holder of multiple patents in device authentication and interaction systems, Jay has been featured on TechCrunch, Business Insider, Entrepreneur.com, Yahoo Finance and is a frequent guest speaker at developer conferences, events and podcasts. Jay earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where he also explored his passion for game development with the Game Creation Society. Jay is a nomad, traveling and pursuing his loves of food and photography in his free time.
