CEO & cofounder
Melissa
Ng
Hailing from Singapore, Melissa has lived in Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand, bringing a rich tapestry of experiences to her work. At 21, she founded Melewi, a pioneering remote digital design agency, collaborating with global giants like McDonald’s, Visa, and Samsung.
Her entrepreneurial spirit took another leap with Bravely. Yet, as life often does, it threw a curveball just as Bravely was getting started: Melissa was diagnosed with leukaemia. This experience profoundly deepened her resolve to create lasting and meaningful change in mental healthcare with Bravely.
Today, Melissa is a recognised thought leader, sharing her personal experiences and hard-won insights on product design, remote work, and mental health with audiences around the world. She has spoken at The Economist, Google, Dropbox, Citibank and more, with her story featured in Forbes, The Straits Times, Channel News Asia, NüYou, Money FM 89.3, and other press. She's been named a LinkedIn Top Voice in Mental Health, a Robb Report Thought Leader, and a Prestige 40 Under 40 honoree.
Beyond the accolades and achievements, Melissa remains committed to her own well-being, learning to make peace with the messy, beautiful, and unpredictable journey of life. She finds joy in travelling with her husband (and cofounder!) Rackley, experimenting in the kitchen, playing chess, and hitting the slopes whenever she can. Above all, she's driven by a desire to make a real difference in the world, one person, one product, one conversation at a time.
