From smarter client management and easier booking to bulk invoice reminders and automatic form allocation — here’s what’s new in Bravely’s EHR and practice management platform this quarter.
A Strong Start to 2025: Key Updates from Quarter 1
The first quarter of 2025 brought a host of new features and refinements across Bravely’s EHR and practice management platform. From improved client search and invoicing tools to enhanced calendar options and outcome measures, these updates make daily workflows faster, more accurate, and easier to manage — so you can stay focused on care, not admin.
Client Management
Smarter Client Search
You can now search and filter clients by date of birth, email, or phone number directly from the main Clients view — making it easier to find records quickly and accurately.
Overdue Invoice Warnings
When booking appointments, Bravely now displays a warning if a client has two or more overdue invoices (e.g., “[Client name] has [number] overdue invoices”) so you can address billing issues early.
Editable Therapy Goals
Practitioners can now edit client therapy goals directly from the client profile page, under the Presenting Issues, Diagnosis & Notes tab, helping you stay aligned with treatment direction and client progress.
Appointments
Faster, More Flexible Scheduling
Appointments can now be switched between in-person and online formats, with automatic email notifications sent to clients when the location changes.
Improved Notifications
Clients can now receive appointment notifications in advance of booking, configured under Appointments > Setup > Configure.
Enhanced Calendar View
We’ve added a full calendar view showing no-shows and cancellations, plus new toggles to hide inactive hours or limit the view to work hours. Your view preferences are now saved automatically.
Simplified Booking Window
The booking window now displays both client and staff names when scheduling new appointments, better preventing mix-ups.
Forms, Measures & Internal Notes
Automatic Intake Form Allocation
Intake forms can now be auto-assigned to all new clients and marked as compulsory. Once enabled, these forms appear automatically for new clients when they open Bravely Home — saving setup time and ensuring consistent onboarding.
Improved Outcome Measures
You can now view responses to specific questions in outcome measures, giving better visibility into client progress and care outcomes.
Internal Notes
Session internal notes and payment notes are now displayed in the Uninvoiced Appointments list, keeping all context visible in one place.
Invoicing & Payments
Easier Invoice Editing
Invoice descriptions, amounts, and visit dates can now be edited either during creation or from the sidebar view — making corrections simple and quick.
Bulk Overdue Invoice Reminders
Send overdue invoice reminders in bulk from the Invoice List menu (three dots on the right). With one action, all clients with outstanding invoices are notified — helping you stay on top of payments.
Clearer Invoice Display
Invoices now show a clearer separation between client and invoice information for easier reading and tracking.
Quick Access to Invoices
You can now copy invoice links or open them in a new tab for faster sharing or record-keeping.
Client Receipt Downloads
Clients can now download all past receipts directly from the Payments page in Bravely Home.
Other Improvements
Added improved location filters in the All Clients view.
Numerous speed, performance, and device compatibility enhancements to keep Bravely running faster and smoother than ever.
